ONE LOVE VISION

At One Love Skate, our vision is to help bring the presence of God to every skatepark in the world! Our work began in 2006. Our logo—a “1,” an “L,” and arrows pointing up and down—captures both our name and our core values: to look up and know God’s love, and to look down and show His love to the world around us. Inspired by Psalm 19, we believe the heavens declare God’s story and His Word brings wisdom to our hearts. That’s the whole view: to know the Love (1 John 4:9) and to show the Love in action. Whether or not it’s called “One Love Skate,” our prayer is to see ministries in skateparks everywhere that reflect God’s love and invite others into His story.

 WHY?

To share the One Love of Jesus and be a positive presence in the skate community

Many youth lack safe, positive spaces where they can belong. Skateboarding is often misunderstood, leaving kids without mentorship or support. Risk factors like isolation, drugs, and violence pull youth away from their potential. One Love Skate builds community through faith and skateboarding. We provide a safe skate space, mentorship, and events where kids feel valued. We partner with schools, churches, and families to reach youth where they are. 

We want to be shoulder to shoulder with soldiers for God’s Kingdom, and we are excited to see One Love Skate continuing to grow and impact more skaters to use their creativity, boldness, and persistence to show Jesus’ love in their communities.

HOW?

through our 4 pillars: life groups, COMMUNITY EVENTS, VOLUNTEER NETWORK, AND MEDIA.

One Love Skate has collectively reached hundreds of youth on Maui, North Carolina, and Wyoming. We collaborate with churches, schools, and other ministries/organizations to help Know The Love and Show The Love of Jesus.
