Every skater brought heart, courage, and style — proving again what makes Maui’s skate community so special. One Love Skate exists to know the love and show the love, and this event was a perfect example of that in motion.
Maui Christian Academy had the biggest skate team at this event, and we are stoked to see more schools with skateboard teams and coaches!
Mahalo to everyone who rolled out, cheered on, and made memories together. Until next time — keep skating, keep encouraging, and keep spreading aloha.
Another special part of the day was skate lessons in the Boys & Girls Club parking lot with Coach Elan and some junior Coaches. Coach Elan had the groms stoked learning to drop off the curb, balance, and lots of core skills with Foundation Flow. The smiles and stoke was so contagious!!!

Special thanks to Jacob Janikoski for coming over from Lāna‘i to help judge! 🙌 You did an awesome job making sure the contest was fair and fun—especially keeping that 45-second clock on point so everyone knew their run time. So good to see you and your ‘ohana, and big mahalo for all the ways you invest in the skate scene! 🛹🤙
Uncle Kevin from Mana Mentors shared how skateboarding has given his son courage, consequences, and confidence—and then backed it up by laying down so Greyson could ollie over him for his Best Trick in the advanced division! Huge thanks to rad dads like Kevin who are raising up the next generation of skaters to be strong on and off the board.
So cool to see Zayden doing his thing! He was a great example to his sister as well and used his Junior Skate Coach skills to help coach her with her run in between his heats.
We’re so thankful to share so much HOPE and Joy with the skate community and for such a fun contest!
